Bridger Ehli
Bridger Ehli joined the department in the Fall of 2023. He received his PhD from Yale University and his BA from Lewis & Clark College. His research focuses on early modern European philosophy, with special interest in British philosophy of the long eighteenth century. Most of his work has focused on David Hume’s Treatise of Human Nature (1739-1740), which Hume presents as an attempt to bring the experimental method of seventeenth-century natural philosophy to bear on questions concerning human nature.
