Philosophy Students Elected to Phi Beta Kappa 2022

Thursday, November 10, 2022

This text appears when someone is browsing using assistive technologies.

The following Philosophy students have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa for Fall 2022:

Bre Castaneda, Philosophy Major

Elizabeth McAvoy, Philosophy/Political Science Major

Noor Qureshi, Philosophy Major

Sam Shoemaker, Philosophy Major

Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest academic honor society for students in the arts and sciences. Only about one college senior in a hundred is selected for membership, so being invited to join is quite a significant honor.

The Fall 2022 Induction Banquet will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 in the Solarium, at the Indiana Memorial Union. Irene García Newton, Professor of Biology, will deliver the Phi Beta Kappa address.

Congratulations to our students!
