International applicants need to submit an online application (all applicants are automatically considered for financial aid). In order for your application to be considered completed, you must include the following:
- Three letters of recommendation
- A 300-500 word statement of purpose
- Official transcripts of all previous college and university coursework
- One philosophical paper recently written by the applicant for a course or seminar
- A personal CV/resume
- Application fee ($70)
- Official TOEFL or IELTS scores
We no longer require, or even accept, GRE scores.
If you are accepted to our program and choose to attend, then you must provide your official transcript(s) to the Office of International Services (OIS). They must be issued by the Registrar or record-keeping official from the institution at which the work was completed and can either be sent electronically via secure document transfer or mailed directly to the OIS:
