I received my BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2021 and my MA in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University in 2024. In between getting these degrees I spent time doing photography, videography and adjunct teaching. I'm most interested in philosophical topics within aesthetics, ethics, the philosophy of language, and in certain strains of the Wittgensteinian tradition. I also have a general interest in the history of philosophy and in how philosophy interacts with culture more broadly.
Adjacent to philosophy, I am interested in film criticism and film history. I enjoy watching movies, reading, doing various outdoor activities, and participating in many mundane aspects of daily living, especially when I'm doing them with my wife, Rachel.
