About Dan Dake

I received my M.A. in philosophy from Northern Illinois University. Broadly, I am interested in the following areas: epistemology, metaphysics, and moral philosophy. Specifically, I focus on solutions to external world skepticism, the nature of taste experience, and the nature and role of non-deontic reactive attitudes. When not studying philosophy, I revel in all things poetic and gustatory. Herbert, Hopkins, and Mandelstam are my constant companions. Meal-designing, bread-making, and wine-drinking are essential activities of the everyday.
